La Estrella, Los Robles and Los Chorros vehicular tunnels
Description
The Central Mountain Range Crossing project is an integral part of the Bogotá - Buenaventura road corridor, and is one of the most important foreign trade axes, as it allows communication between the interior of the country and the port of Buenaventura.
The development of the project was planned in two stages and different phases. The Calarcá-Cajamarca section currently has a length of 47 km. Once the works are completed, it will be reduced to 33 km.
